New features in Workflow automation

Automate Telegram messages directly from workflows

You can now send Telegram messages as part of your workflow automations. This is ideal for reaching leads or customers instantly with updates, reminders, or follow-ups—without ever leaving your CRM.

No need for bots. Use your own personal Telegram number and ensure your communications feel personal, timely, and relevant.

How to use it:

  • Log in to CRM. 
  • Settings > Automation > Workflow
  • Create workflow. 
  • Add trigger. While defining the action, you can select “Message”
  • Choose to “Send Telegram message”. 
  • Select conversation ID, channel, and template.
  • Set up the workflow and enable it. 

Add condition-based and time-based delays to workflows

Timing matters in customer communication. With the latest features, you can now set two types of delays in your workflow automations:

  • Condition-based delay: Pause the workflow until the user responds.
  • Time-based delay: Wait until a defined time or date before continuing.

This gives you greater flexibility to control when your automated messages or actions are triggered.

When can you use it:Set a follow-up message to send only if a contact replies, or delay a task reminder until the next business day.

How to use it:

  • Log in to CRM. 
  • Settings > Automation > Workflow
  • Create workflow. 
  • Add trigger. 
  • Set up a delay. 
  • Choose the type of delay and add action.

Replace or remove tags across all modules via workflows

Managing your CRM data just got easier. You can now automate tag management within workflows—no more manual cleanup or outdated segments.

With this update, you can:

  • Replace existing tags (e.g., switch from "New Lead" to "Engaged")
  • Remove tags automatically as part of any workflow
  • Add tags to add new tags to the records

This is especially useful for lead qualification, pipeline transitions, or re-engagement campaigns.

Use case:

When a deal moves to the "Won" stage, automatically remove "Prospect" and add "Customer" as a tag.

How to use it:

  • Log in to CRM. 
  • Settings > Automation > Workflow
  • Create workflow. 
  • Add trigger. 
  • While selecting the action, choose the module (such as lead, opportunity, etc.)
  • Choose to update the module. 
  • Select tag. 
  • You can choose to either “Add tag”, “Replace tag”, or “Remove tag”. 
  • Set up the workflow and enable it. 

Task module updates

Export tasks and reuse templates with ease

Managing tasks just got easier. You can now export your task list directly from the CRM—perfect for reporting or offline tracking. Additionally, task templates are now available across your business modules, including leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities.

Save time by reusing task structures that work well, such as follow-up checklists or onboarding sequences.

How to use it: Go to the Tasks module to export lists or create new tasks from saved templates inside any business record.

Connect your personal Telegram via Wazzup

Many sales and service teams utilise personal Telegram accounts to maintain contact with clients. Now, Pepper Cloud CRM supports direct integration with personal Telegram numbers using Wazzup.

This means you can centralise Telegram chats inside your CRM—share files, reply to messages, and retain full chat history without switching apps.

Key benefits:

  • Use your real Telegram number (not a bot)
  • Let multiple team members access a shared Telegram account
  • Store all chats and media inside CRM threads

How to set it up:

Sign up on Wazzup, scan your Telegram QR code, and connect it to Pepper Cloud using the built-in integration. For details, refer to the user Wazzup Telegram CRM integration user guide. 


Smarter chatbot fallback handling

When your chatbot cannot handle a query, it no longer leaves the conversation hanging. You can now assign these fallback conversations to a real team member automatically.

This ensures leads are never left unattended and your team can step in with human support at just the right time.

How to set it up:

  • Log in to your CRM account. 
  • Navigate to Settings > Automation > AssistAI chatbot
  • Go to Fallback message
  • Enable “Transfer conversation after fallback message to” and select the user. 

Better ticketing for better customer support

Support teams can now:

  • Search tickets by ticket ID for quick access
  • Assign multiple users to escalation paths, ensuring no support ticket goes unresolved

These updates help teams collaborate faster and deliver better resolution times—especially in high-volume environments.


Zoom in and out of images

Finally, when an image is sent in a chat, you can now zoom in or out to view details clearly—no more pixel guessing or downloading needed.
